Descrizione: After the tragic death of King Alexander Karadjordjevic in Marseilles in 1934, a number of film anthologies with recordings from his life arose. One of them, with emphasis on the events from the First World War, was directed by Mihailo Mihailovic, mostly from the material of the Serbian Army Film Section, which took place on the Thessaloniki front in the period from 1916 to 1918, and whose cameraman later became manager. The anthology includes films: "Departure to the front" where regent Alexander performs the inspection of a unit of Serbian volunteers from America; "Regent Alexander and the Greek King Konstantin perform the inspection of the Serbian army"; "Serbian soldiers in positions"; "Army on the Front at lunch"; "Duke Misic and General Saray", "Duke Misic and Duke Bojovic among soldiers"; "The progress of our army in our terrain," "Alexander and Duke Misic are watching the situation" "A lot of prisoners and war material", "Gradsko after bombardment", as well as the postwar story "Raising the memorial church dedicated to the fallen heroes on Kajmakchalan" and several reconstructions of war operations.
